For your consideration is a very rare antique brown/amber blown glass coffin shaped barbershop bottle used by the Koken Barbers Supply Co of Saint Louis, Missouri USA. This bottle was from their "Acroline" dandruff treatment line & available through your local barber shop in the late 1800's to the early 1900's. The winning bidder will also receive an unaltered 8-1/2" x 11" black & white print of the catalog page pictured with this bottle which is from my personal ephemera collection. There are no chips, cracks or repairs visible. There are a number of bubbles which are normal with these bottles but I can only find one that is open or exposed at the glass surface on the back left of center about one inch from the bottom. There are some scuffs on the front from storage but this bottle displays very nicely. The bottom has a starburst or sunburst pattern which is very attractive. The front reads "Koken St.Louis.U.S.A." with the companies KBSCO logo in a circle, all of this advertisement is in raised lettering. The bottle measures approximately 7-7/8" tall, 3" at its widest, 2-1/8" deep, 1-1/8" OD top, 3/4" ID top & weighing in at a hefty 327.9 grams empty of contents.
